Totes. Just finished with our first Dungeons and Dragons experience. Two words: Fricken Awesome!!! Though we weren’t complete, it was still shit loads of fun. We started everything off with a toast to all our gods: Moradin, Pelor, the Raven Queen and… I forgot. What was your god’s name again, Ab? (UPDATE: Yeah, It’s Corellon! Thanks, Ches! XD)

(We then realized we were all complete nerds cuz not only we were toasting to our gods in D&D but we were toasting with water and in plastic cups. Yep.)

Angelo was awesome with the whole story thing. It was like we were transported in to a different place (which is, duh, the goal of the game). But first we started with our back stories. Dan’s and mine intertwined, really, cuz as a dwarf I don’t trust anyone unless they’re a long time friend and stuff. After all the story telling we all find ourselves in a caravan on our way to this small town. We then had our first encounter with a bunch of zombies (note chat thing) and it kinda dragged.Lylee pretty much knew everything already and after he took his turn we were all like, “What just happened??” But we eventually got the hang of it. Next time won’t take too much, most likely.

I guess the best thing about the whole D&D thing is the people. From laughing our heads off and poking fun at each other and ourselves, it can get pretty hilarious. We’re even using little Pokemon pieces to represent our characters on a grid (yep, Lylee really loves that part) but we still think it’s awesome. And yes, I’ve gotten tons of short jokes. Abi has even taken a liking to calling me “Shorty” (as if I’m not a highly regarded leader in Dwarven society) but we have also taken a liking to calling her a teenager with raging hormones (aka Slutty hahaha) who likes to get her drink on. We have yet to introduce a few other characters. Mabs has made a short entrance though she couldn’t stay long. Nadine and Anton have yet to make it. But, things will get pretty interesting once they do.

I can’t wait til next week. It’s gonna be even MORE FREAKIN AWESOME! As Lylee would say, “YES YES YES YES!”
