But this Cybercrime Bill just seems like politicians going on an ego trip. Are these guys just covering their asses for when they get involved in a real scandal, being able to sue anyone that criticizes them?
I am not one for cyber bullying, but this seems ridiculous and perhaps juvenile. I’ve read stories about teenagers being very affected by hurtful things found on the internet but you’re generally supposed to get over them when you reach adulthood. WELCOME TO THE INTERNET and all that.
What really makes my blood boil is that while these kiddies in Congress talk about being victimized on the internet, the RH Bill is being opposed and perhaps may be shelved YET AGAIN.
Yes, hearing bad things about yourself is hurtful, boohoo, but there people out there, women, married couples, today’s youth, that are in need if a proper Reproductive Health law that let’s them practice their rights of which they have constantly been denied and even worse, not been made aware of.
And yes, I honestly expect more from this country. I think everyone does. When will we finally get what we deserve?
I await the time that question will cease being rhetorical.
